they don't generally advance from formulary-using orderly to
grimoire-using adept, since most cults only use one or the other.
Orderly and adept don't really map to initiate and devotee in the way
that ordinate and novitiate seem to, so we wouldn't expect to see that
sort of parallel. (The Loskalmi might be an exception here, but we
haven't seen the rules for them yet). FWIW, the wizardry equivalent of a
devotee is a magus, not an adept, and magus-type powers don't seem to be
available to the Lunars.

the tin, but *those* powers I can improvise all I like, and those
*other* ones I can put in a fetish, and gain special advantages from
that way."
