I think he was looking for more like the character writeups in the Sartar 
Rising series.

Of course, there is no such thing as a "typical" Lunar war-mage (or "Lunar 
war-mage", for that matter), so I don't feel too bad about the authors not 
including them :-).

Thunder Rebels and Storm tribe don't include any stats for anybody, either. 
It's just not the focus of this particular type of book.
