[Glorantha] Under the Red Moon

I just got my hands on the book.

First of all, congratulations. I like the lay-out, and the illustrations,
and the book seems to have a lot of useful information for dealing with
the Empire. I would prefer the stapled books, or a hardback, but I guess I
can live with the GURPS-book style binding here.

I was expecting more immediately useful stuff though. The book is
afflicted with the same sort of vagueness that bothers me with much of the
HQ stuff. There is useful stuff about the Imperial university, and the
field colleges, but it is all very abstract and from a far off
perspective.

Where is are the statistics for a typical lunar war-mage? How about an
example, like a small story that would illustrate how the imperial field
schools weild magic on the field, and what their impact is. Hero Quest
gives us incredible potential for such expression, but the books don't
seem to be making much use of this :(

In fact Alanthor the Destroyer seems to be the only entity that is given
any statistics!

This is something that could, and propably should, have something done
about it. Either such game material should be added to the Glorantha site,
or parhaps a .pdf product could be made that would be sold through
Drivethrough RPG for something like five dollars. I know I'd pay to get
some more concrete game material with statistics.
