A generic noun, yes. For "I don't care which
otherworld it's in, the thing that's equivalent to the
soul".

He suggested "soul". Which is what I'd use myself,
except that then people assumed I was being
theist-specific, since that's what the word is defined
as meaning. Fair enough, they've every right to assume
I was using it properly, and I wasn't.

Glorantha-specific is rather the point! Glorantha is
the place that has these three otherworlds, where
"soul" has a clear and specific meaning, as does
"spirit".
