Nitpicking, it is called the Singing Trees and not
Singing Oasis. Google again.

It is difficult, but I don't think it is a full
otherworld heroquest. It is a long ritual, mundane
world quest.

I think not.
It is a 'wandering place' like the Hidden Green.
Other suggestions I have not, apart from:
I presume you own the Masks of Pavis (or was it
Shadows of Pavis?) booklet by Ian Thompson which
details the Desert Trackers heroband, don't you?
