[Glorantha] Genert's Skin (Hyena's Skin) Quest

  I know that some of this has been covered before, but ...
   
  Does anyone have any detail on the Desert Trackers' Quest to take bits of hyena skin to the Singing Oasis in the Wastes for it to be reunited with the growing corpse of Genert?
   
  I know it is difficult and that most who attempt it die, but there is a PC in my RQPavis campaign that wants to become a Desert Tracker and I am thinking of letting him tag along on such a quest, or perhaps chickening out of such a quest.
   
  So, some specific questions:
  1. Where is the Singing Oasis? If possible, is there a specific location rather than "In the Wastes"?
  2. What are the obstacles encountered on the Quest?
  3. What are the opponents on the Quest?
  4. What are the Stations of the Quest?
  5. Are there any useful hyperlinks to point me to any useful sites?
  6. In particular, has the Quest been written up by anyone, even unofficially?
   
  I did a search for Genert and it is amazing how many people were actually called Genert in the past. Searching for "Singing Oasis" brought up loads of sites about people singing songs by the group Oasis but not much else. Searching for Garzeen gave me some general information, but nothing specific.
   
  So, unless some kind soul can put me out of my misery, Karim may well end up at the Wonderwall instead of the Singing Oasis.
