Nysalor was born in Dorastor, Peloria, and I'm not aware of any
obvious eastern influence on the Seven Mothers. I'm sure there
is cultural contact between Kralorela and Peloria, after all
they're closer to each other than China and India, but there does
seem to be a genuinely Pelorian mystical tradition.
Eastern mystics do seem to have a similar take on chaos to the
Lunars in some respects. They don't seem to particularly fear
it or go out of their way to combat it because they know what
it is, as do the Lunar mystics.

If that were true, mystic traditions would die out after a single
generation. It's certainly possible to communicate the
philosophical concepts in mysticism, as hypothetical ideas, but
quite another to actualy re-engineer your conciousness to
conform to the principles they represent.
