[Glorantha] Destor's Birth heroquest

My name is Topi, I approach you as a friend, I seek your advice, may I !


Ok, I've had a tremendous game about an destori adventurer getting married.
(The game got based on Dennis Leary/Elisabeth Hurley movie Bad Boy...)
Basicly this destori guy gets an marital opportunity of once in a lifetime
with a tribal princess with the royal kin rich with cows, early 1623.
The only thing is that the female relatives of the girl want to make sure
that the marriage is blessed by Ernalda, so they want him to prove it.

"She Lives in all women." - Where Ernalda resides. TR,181

The Destori Hero has to get a blessing(s) for his marriage from ALL women,
(85%) he has had an intercourse with within Kerofinela! And a problem is:
there are lots, and lots and more of those ex-lovemates. :)

Of course He is being monitored the whole tour by family representatives.
But there was also "The Swan's Burden TR,194" kind of Enferalda disguise
scheme going on that provided much amusing flirting. So gamewise this
'Bad Dog' scenario has been series of somewhat similar closed puzzles
(heortling women) with few continuos & developing relationships (escorts).
It's been run with three gamemasters for two players.

Now, the tour has been rather succesful, and the male player decided to
prove his Destori Hero's favorable position by doing a proper heroquest.
I am thinking about 'Destor's Birth'. And this gets me to my questions...


THE OBJECTIVE OF THE QUEST

The draft idea was that even if it is not a tale often told, Orlanth did
a similar tour from flower to flower, getting his exes - even the bitter
ones - to bless his marriage with Ernalda and be happy for 'Niskis'. 
(quest: to repeat this, but it was already done in everything world!)

1. Get a permanent blessing for himself. (change to Orlanthdovar)
2. Get a temporal blessing for tha marriage/clan. (to get support ;)


SELECTING MYTHS

Destor's Birth, 
"Orlanth made Destor when he was _young_, _full of life_ and _energy_,
and _without the commitment's of family_ or _even clan_.
He explored the world, and when he turned back to the Inner World,
Destor kept going. When young Orlanthi do not know what life will
bring to them or what they will bring to life, they are caught in
the winds of Destor."

Turn back to Inner World, is interpreted meaning the Inner Godworld
- ie. more powerful things. (quest: to create destor, that will keep on
adventuring, while the main attention will shift to marriage mysteries)

Dragon Pass, HQ, 226 (perfect!)
This text will define the divine landscape for and in The Quest events.

Orlanth in the Wilderness, TR,228
"When HeroQuesting always strike to the most original myth." -Arkat
"...The Five Majestic Beast Delayed Him..."

This game has been about a touring in Dragon Pass. This myth is the
oldest and most comprehensive myth about roaming there that I know.
I think I want to use the pattern of this very old beast in The Quest.

So I'm thinking about five stations/challenges + sixth devilish climax.
The climax (resembling Sashaka The Devil Fish) is obvious Orvanshagor
thing, it is the Blue Aroka reappeared, it is the Slaying Shaka'arzeel.
And I think climax should be The Dragon Mountain, within which 'Destor' 
created by the quest if succesful, will be found fondling an alynx.

STATIONS - ideas appreciated

Help needed! Stations should vaguely map with the five majestic beasts.
"earth deer, green rock lion, manticore, horned beetle, variegated eagle"

And I would like to have the stations also adapt descriptions from
(HeroQuest core book page 226, Dragon Pass) Land of Thunder paragraphs.
Actually, to resemble the myths told in the descriptions.
"kerofin, dragon pass, oslir river, creekstreamriver, upland marsh,
snakepipe hollow, three great mountains and three great cities"

cross over - a heortling deer carrying the blessing(s) of lovers

Earth Deer, i lack vision,  /upland marsh? :( if i have nothing else

Green Rock Lion - think I HAVE TO put The Hero wrestle the Green Dragon
supported by Entarios The Supporter (dragon and captive maiden cliche)!
The 'Bad Dog' will be terrible underdog, I bet ya. 
/dragon pass (rockwood) or /three great mountains (near arrowmound)

Manticore? I had an idea about an Lodrili heroquestor, that was doing
"Lodril Paint's The Animals" and thinks he has jus met Gerendetho...
...oh they need the striker/spear. /...maybe oslir river?

Horned Beetle, maybe a spirit world part in the quest?

Variegated eagle - would love to use the Eaglebrown /three mountains?
(MoLaD) But how exactly? Any ideas? ..it's reachable from spirit world?

Climax - a dragonfight / dragonfright / dragonmate ???   /Kerofin
