I disagree.  I think Dark Eater is a single spirit.  It is enormous.  Morokanth know how to worship it though an independent practice; other Praxians know of to placate it or banish it though an enemy practice.  I agree that the Dark Eater is more primal even than Zorak Zoran.  Given that trolls are underworld entities, it would not surprise me for Dark Eater to be the animist aspect of Zorak Zoran, but someone smarter than me would have to explain it.
