I don't realy get the ZZ connection. IIRC The Black Eater was the
demon, an avatar of Kyger Litor, summoned by the Trolls to fight
Nysalor and which was wounded by him. Remember ZZ is not a troll, but
a darkness god that happens to be worshiped by them.

Yes. Trollkin are Enlo. I think 'Kyger Litor' probably means someting
like 'great mother of us all' and is probably a human name for her
based on a phonetic interpretation of the troll name. The same for
Argan Argar, who is sometimes refered to as 'surface darkness'.
