I don't know. I do recall that both Iron Age Britons and Vikings are
said to have had to stop in combat and straighten bent swords.
IIRC, the huge advantage iron has is that it's much more plentiful.
The big advantage of bronze is that it's easier to produce.
But that's in our world. In Glorantha, the metals do what the rules
say. (Though I am borrowing heavily from copper smelting to determine
how the processing of bronze ore works -- in my game, the characters
went back to a random battle in the Gods War, and managed to locate
the site so as to mine the bones of the dead.)
