I doubt that there exists actually any gloranthan 'theism as a whole'.
I feel the theistic world is 'all the same, all different' for each and
every religion. It propably follows that every attempt to express 
general theistic soulstuff is severly limited as gross generalisation.

'Breath' on the other hand is very elegant and even precise expression
of orlanthi soul. I think Ernaldans have 'power' - as a tribute to RQ -
but maybe they call it 'loom' themselves. No discount there.

And if we need to check out, say Teshnans... we better try start using
their terminology of soulfires, or whatever it is they have. Because,
it is different enough. (that neither soul, nor breath captures it)

This is the eternal problem with elephants and blind researchers.
Though, true scholars might not agree. ;)
