One thing to bear in mind is that Gloranthan history isn't a (bradly
speaking) one-way
street, from primitive to civilized and low-tech to high-tech, the
same way our world
does. The Sartarites might be a bunch of inbred sheep sh****rs now, but their
Dragon Pass cousins of the pre-dragonkill era ran an advanced civilization. Also
a pelorian, western or Kralorelan character could certainly know how
to paint and
even an urban Sartarite might be able to learn from a far-travelled foreigner.
