  I am in Humakt, my friend is in Humakt. He has the Geas "Never Lie" (or "Speak Truth to Everyone" I can't remember which Humakti get). He is geased never to lie, therefore Humakti are not normally forbidden to lie. Therefore, I am allowed to lie.

  I would be very, very surprised if this was a true statement. Maybe Issaries merchants _shouldn't_ rip people off, but "don't" is a very wide-ranging statement.
   
  Who else gets the Trade rune (or equal exchange or whatever else it is called now)? I suppose they don't steal or cheat either?
   
  I'm always concerned about statements like "Issaries merchants don't steal" or "Humakti don't lie".
