They're pining for the Red Moon.

They don't realise it, but in neglecting their [Lunar version of 
soul/spirit/essence which I will not name as I can't remember if Greg or 
Rory have posted it elsewhere] ducks are divorced from the key part of 
being. Until they accept the Goddess (and start wearing togas) they will 
remain without direction.

Ducks, being so close to Her radiant heart, are more particularly affected 
by this than other races. I suggest such incidences of what the Lunar 
mythographers call "asymmetric cultic affinity" (or rampant Humakt-worship) 
were much reduced prior to Her Ascension.

Wanna bet that Sedenya can regrant the ducks the gift of flight? I do. 
Accept Her love, and She will take those broken wings, and ducks will learn 
to fly again, and learn to live so free.

Of course, an alternative theory more popular among Darsenite Lunars, as I 
have already suggested, is that the male-dominated Humakti/swords 
pedilection is little more than a "homo-erotic, penile-extensive insecurity 
complex" favoured by short creatures with...
