[Glorantha] Rules discussions

First off, it is a very bad idea to define any list's scope negatively. Whether the Digest's scope overlaps with another list's scope or not is irrelevant.

The Glorantha Digest exists for any discussion directly related to Glorantha. Emphasis on the *ANY*. Recent discussions on playing styles, rules styles, needs from gaming books, etc. have been veering a little off-topic, but no more than many non-rules discussions do. As far as I'm concerned, they've been fine, if occassionally a little bad-tempered.

The Digest's scope has not changed since the days when it was the only Gloranthan mailing list. It is a broad church, and I like it that way. Those who only have time for one mailing list can join this one without having to worry that they won't be able to raise topics that interest them. Threads can weave and change direction without worrying that you're straying into unsuitable areas.

In summary, I disagree. As long as the focus is basically "Glorantha", you can discuss *anything* here, whichever rules (or lack thereof) you prefer.
