[Glorantha] Mostali, aldryami skill levels

The way I run my games immorta, or just long lived, character's don't
become supernaturally skilled. Just because an iron dwarf is 800 years
old doesn't mean he's a better fighter than Harrek the Berserk. Actually
he has propably reached the his personal limits (aptitude, training
regime, mental approach to combat) in a few decades, and further training
time just maintains his edge. That is not to say that some mostali
wouldn't eventually become Heroic or even Superheroic fighting machines.
There are the Diamond dwarves afterall.

The same goes for elves, but in a different way. The elven skills propably
reflect their lifescycle, more than anything. The young and limber ones
are scouts and skirmishers, where the older and steadier are steadfast
fighters and kiydo-master style archers. Eventually, in a more treelike
state the truly old Aldryami are propably more like fighting trees (ents)
than what people think of as elves:

Incidentally, I think it's pretty cool if at least some of the elves that
take root don't die, but instead become the large sentient trees found in
an elven forest. No doubt many old elves are too tired, and weakened by
plant diseases and damage live on as trees, but it would be cool if at
lest some of them managed the transition. Think of a thousand year old
oak, in which still lives the soul of an elven hero from the early second
age. I don't mean that the tree would be sentient in the same way that the
hero was when a young elf, but the magic and the wisdom would remain.
This would also be a neat explanation for the fighting trees.
...In addiotion, I'm sure some of the trees in an elven forest become
awakened as well. Like in Tolkien's Middle Earth. Some ent's become like
trees, some trees become like the ents.

Phew. I started to write this to ask what sort of skill levels you people
assign to elves and dwarves seen in your games? I've personally been
pretty happy with Anaxial's Roster here. Iron dwarves have fighting skills
of about 1w2 and elven archers in their own forests are at about the same
level. Leaders of such groups, I would assume, get about +10 to these
values, and heroic ones get an extra mastery.

Does that sound right to you people?
