[Glorantha] Recalling Orlanth from exile?

I have a question about the exile of Orlanth.
According to _Thunder Rebels_, Orlanth was once
outlawed through a conspiracy led by Vadrus. Orlanth
left the stead, and Ernalda took a series of other
protectors in the meantime. Eventually, Vingkot called
Orlanth back.

How did Orlanth actually get reinstated? Did he have
to cripple Vadrus first? And what role did Vingkot
have in his reinstatement?
