[Glorantha] Godi - how do we define them in HQ

I have recently returned to King of Sartar, and have realised that my 
understanding of the term Godi has changed.

How do others define them? Is the term still appropritae for Sartarites?

I Originally saw them in terms of RQ Acolytes, then when HW arrived I 
saw them as Devotees that preside over rituals so any devotee could 
potentially be a Godi. Then I began to imagine Initiates with a lay 
preacher role.

Norse Godi or Gothi seem to have presided over ritual but were not 
always the most devoted just the most suited person for the job.

Now I am not sure at all. Words are pervasive, and the word devotee has 
now slipped its way into my thoughts and kicked out others, so that when 
I return to less rules orientated sources I cant help but see the world 
through these artificial filters.
